Race. Justice.
Reconciliation. Jesus.

Have you found yourself asking the question, "What do I do now?"
Join me, as we explore our hearts, our history, and our theology, while providing a safe space for questions and ongoing engagement. Together, we dedicate the month of June to healthy conversation and community.

During this journey, you will receive a new devotion from me, in your email every Monday in June, starting June 8th

On Wednesdays at 8p EST, I’ll host a private LIVE Zoom call. I’ll share fresh insight and create safe space to answer questions you may have around race, social change and God’s plan for it all.

Meet Your Host

Pastor Vernon Gordon

My name is Vernon Gordon. As an African-American, the pieces that form the Mosaic of American history, have dealt me both some highs and some low blows. I’ve seen the beauty of what happens when people of all cultures, regardless of color or creed, come together in love. I’ve also experienced personal injustice and racism that provoked fear and reinforced cultural trauma. All of these moments have shaped my life’s work as a pastor, community leader, and consultant for change.

As a believer, I believe in God’s design for kingdom diversity. As a community leader, I believe that we’re better together than we are divided. And as a consultant for change, I believe those elements can only be accomplished when we’re willing to start with real questions and conversations about what shapes us. Only then can we understand our past, confront our present, and reshape the pieces of our future.

Most importantly, I am a husband and dad of two kids, Madison (6) & Jackson (4). Every parent wants to leave the world better for their children. We don’t have to look far to see that some battles we’ve been fighting for generations. But I’d like to think the hard work and heart work we do today, will leave them a better world tomorrow. For me, that starts with small steps like this one, and I’m happy to have you apart.

Let’s start making our Mosaic.

I recently created an IGTV series detailing some of my experiences being Black in America. Click to check them out below.

In March of 2019, I shared a series of talks called "Made In America: Religion and Relevance based on Ethnic Context". The content was curated to address questions that arose from the black community about Christianity and culture.
